All Tote2Go! tote bags are a truly “green” product—created by hand with recycled, reclaimed, repurposed and remnant fabrics. No “off the bolt” fabrics are used, therefore “closing the loop” in our efforts to reduce/reuse/recycle.

Tote2Go! supports our local community and charitable organizations by purchasing all of our fabrics at retail outlets within 50 miles of our studio. Our favorite gathering places are: Goodwill, Value Village and St. Vincent DePaul as well as small, independent thrift stores that directly help those in need.

We strive to minimize all waste during the production of our products. All of our scrap fabrics are saved and used in other items such as smaller totes, zippered pouches, quilt squares and embellishments. Any unusable scrap is collected and sent to a facility that shreds the fibers for use in home insulation products.
